Sorted out

A festival entry because sale of Providencenssirock tickets starts today! I haven’t yet bought mine, I probably will sometime soon, but first I want to know who else than Dave Grohl’s beard will be playing there.

Amy’s beehive will probaby cancel the whole thing and just guzzle booze in its hotel room. Silly little beehive, that’s exactly what everyone does at festivals! PMMS will (despite being pregnant and all that) sing angry songs about abdominal pain. Maja Vilkkumaan is on EVERY festival JUST BEFORE your favourite band, so you have to suffer through her set and try not to get mangled by her enormous and very drunk male fans.

I haven’t been to DuckRawk yet, and I’m not having any grudge whatsoever that back in 2005 some artsy indie kids from Scotland were playing there. Floppy fringes and 29-inch-waist jeans, who needs them?
So yeah, keep yer Glastos and all that, Finland’s festival scene is all I need!

At least we’re not drowning in mud but… I just want some decent artsts this year, not to be sick at the time and have fun! Is that too much to ask? Seriously, next year I have to go to at least to Roskilde or somewhere. Even a Swedish festival would do, really!

Cut your hair and get a job

This post is dedicated to my friend who’s in the US now.

Amy Wino looks like a troubled Gogol Bordello dancer. (No offence to them Gogol girls, they’re amazing.) Maybe it’s the scarf-thingy, without it she… still looks weird.

Richard Ashcroft’s crop and dye job truly shocked me, can’t even draw him now! The Jesus-hair looked so much better.

Bottom row hair-don’ts: Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, he had blonde hair ages ago, but I thought he’d grown out of it. Apparently he hadn’t because the peroxide mess came back for a while around… 2006 was it? Post-American Idiot anyways.

Then there’s the “Black” Parade-era Gerard Way, not looking too happy. Well I wouldn’t be happy either, looking like that. (Crudely drawn or fake blonde, or possibly both.)

And of course we have our precious Pete Doherty in 2007. Is there anything wrong/stupid/downright dangerous he hasn’t done yet?
